Renting in the Private Sector
If you are looking to rent in the private sector, please see our Information for Tenants page.
Information for Private Landlords
Demand for housing in Runnymede significantly outweighs supply. For those applicants accepted onto the housing register the average waiting time for social housing is three years. Additionally a large number of applicants, who do not qualify to join the housing register, still require the Council’s assistance to secure a private sector property.
To meet the housing shortfall, the Council is keen to work in partnership with the Private Rental Sector. If you are a landlord within the borough, or indeed out of the area, with a property to rent we can offer a menu of options. Please see our Magna Carta Lettings page.
